Lewdown Cricket Club Won By 4 Runs

Match report The u-11's kept their winning run with a 4 run win over Werrington. Captains Harry Williams and James Weeks won the toss and chose to bowl. The opening bowlers James and Nick Smith got us of to a flyer with a tight 5 overs. Lewdown took wickets and catches as Werrington were reduced to 240. Lewdown lost lots of wickets at the beginning and went under 200 for the first time this season. Tom Hughes made 10 runs and played well but Lewdown still looked like losing. For the final 5 overs Harry and James went in and put in a brilliant partnership of 36 to win the match in dramatic fashion.
