Tavistock v Lewdown Cricket Club U15's on Wed 24 Apr 2013 at 18.00
Lewdown Cricket Club Won By 49 runs

Match report Two below full strength teams fought out a typical early season encounter. Lewdown's openers started steadily with Williams playing carefully allowing Burns to play more expansively to reach 32 quickly before getting caught. Horn then came in and played the innings of the game finishing on 51 not out with little support from the tail-end who only contributed a measly 3 runs! Lewdown bowled well but gave far too many extras. Hodge was the only batsman to offer any real resistance finishing on 35 not out. Batstone, Hughes and Marais kept the pressure on in the field. The inexperienced Shinn twins, Smith, Horn and the pacey Burns caused the batsmen problems, but bad light meant that Lewdown brought on their spinner weeks, who killed off the game with 3 for 24 to give Lewdown a good start to the season.
