Match report Lewdowns bowling performance was probably the best of the season so far, restricting Cornwood Dels to 99 for 6. Pick of the bowlers were Chris Marais with 2 for 24 and Jack Williams with 2 for 10. At half time Lewdown felt they could get the runs and set off confidently. The loss of Williams and Fogerty stopped the momentum and only 7 runs were added in 7 overs. At 10 overs gone it looked hopeless but Pengelly (19) and Palmer (15)gave Lewdown a slight chance. With time running out thats exactly what happened to Palmer & Craddock. The game was lost early on in the innings and the Lewdown boys will learn a lot from this.
