Match report Needing 10 points to be promoted as Champions, Lewdown won an important toss and inserted Dartington on a sticky wicket. Ben Williams was straight into his work, bowling with good pace and late swing, accounting for 3 wickets. Gibbs 1, Rob Squire 2, Jake Barber 1, Andy Vernon 2 and Afe Clements 1. assisted by an amazing 1 handed catch by Ben Williams, quickly ran througfh the Dartington & Totnes line up.

Needing 79 for victory in 66 overs, the Lewdown response did not start brightly with 3 quick wickets falling. However, Ollie Brown, with some 600 runs under his belt this season batted sensibly for 46 n.o and was ably assisted by Devon U14 player Jack Williams with 15 n.o.. The target was reached with 43 overs remaining.

A great effort this season by a team consisting of 4 very talented youngsters, who will become 1st team players.

Captain Brenden Worth, announced his retirement after 30 years and was given a guard of honour when leaving the field.
