Werrington 'A' v Lewdown Cricket Club 20/20 on Thu 04 Jun 2009 at 6.30pm
Lewdown Cricket Club Won By 6 wkts

Match report Lewdown reached the final of the Evening League Cup with a comfortable 6 wicket win over Werrington 'A'. First team captain Charlie Hughes spearhearded the Lewdown attack and finished with excellent figures of 2-20. With a very good pitch and relatively short boundaries Lewdown were happy to restrict Werrington to 132. Given an excellent start by openers Antoni Weeks (19) and Toby Street (61*) Lewdown reached the target in the last over and therefore, in spite of recent mishaps, restored the captain's faith in evening cricket. Lewdown now look forward to meeting the winners of Launceston/Bridestowe in the final.
