Match report Rain denied Lewdown a victory they deserved, leaving them 7 runs short. On a difficult evening it may be said that Lewdown contributed to their own downfall by not foreseeing the oncoming rain. Lewdown prevented Luckett a sizeable innings by producing an excellent bowling performance most notable Adie Clements (5-20) and Maek Jordan (2-22). Luckett finished on 111-7 and Lewdown got off to an encouraging start thanks to Antoni Weeks (35), Mevan Porage (24) and Harry Geering (22). Mark Jordan (18*) was looking terrific when the rain came and denied him the chance to win the game for Lewdown. One point each and Lewdown may think that it was the case of the point that got away. Next stop, Callington home.
