Match report Lewdown once again succumbed to a run onslaught, this time at the hands of Werrington who opened up with two of their Premier League batsmen. Unfortunately, as is the way this season, Lewdown had turned up with a scratch bowling attack and were soon put to the sword. Sam Hockin completed a fine century for Werrington who amassed a total score of 239-3. However, it was of the general opinion that the highlight of the whole innings was a fine over by captain Carl Weeks who kept the runs down to just 37 of his six deliveries! Lewdown gat some batting practice in and finished with 133-2, Antoni Weeks scored an excellent 58 with many fine boundaries and Carl weeks made 59 not out. It's becoming increasingly worrying that Lewdown are failing to raise a strong team for the evening fixtures.
