Match report Lewdown recorded a fine win against a good Plympton team with some top class cricket. Winning the toss, Lewdown elected to bat on a good batting track. Lewdown suffered two early setbacks when Sam Ewen (5) and Will Hodgetts (12) were both dismissed early on with a good opening bowling attack. Once these two were taken off, Jack Hatton (37)and Tom Fogerty (53) soon took the initiative with two very calm and mature knocks. Good supporting roles were provided by Corey Burns, Ryan Turner and Hayden Bond at the end witch brought the final Lewdown total to 143-6. The bowling and fielding was strong from Lewdown, and despite a few classy shots from Plympton, partly due to two freak wickets from Sam Ewen, they were restricted to 88 all out. Ryan Turner put in a great last over, taking three wickets, fielder of the match went to Will Hodgetts for a brilliant wicket keeping performance.
