Match report Despite being beaten by the very same team in the 5/5 tournament at Tavistock last sunday, The U15s showed a very good all round performance to beat Ivybridge on Wednesday. Batting first on an Ivybridge artificial, the U15s, despite an early scare when Sam Ewen was dismissed off the first ball of the match, posted a good total of 151-3. This was thanks to two composed knocks from Tom Fogerty (51) and Henry Penrose (60)After Will Hodgetts got it up and running with a quick 36. Ivybridge could only muster 38 in reply. With a good total behind him, Ben Williams opened up with a sharp spell of 4 overs, 1 maiden, 5 wickets for 14 runs. This set the rest of the bowling performance up with Jamie Everard cleaning up the tail nicely with 3 wickets for 1 run off his 11 balls. Corey Burns won fielder of the match with a good catch into the glaring sun.
