Lewdown Cricket Club Lost By 4 Wickets

Match report Lewdown and Plympton played out a low scoring but exicting game at the recreation field. Jack Williams won the toss and chose to bat first but Lewdown got off to the worst possible start losing Jack Williams(0), Andrew Craddock(1), Rhys Palmer(0), Pat Ewen(1), Dan Fogarty(7) and Patrick Nash(1) for just 10 runs between them. James Weeks (3*) Harry Williams (3) and with some help from Sam Westlake and Adam Knight brought the score onto 54 all out. With a tiny total to defend the team bowled out of their skin and soon had Plympton 6 down for 20. But A Wass (20*) and C Connaris (9*) took their team home for a 4 wicket victory. Jack Williams (3-0-17-2), Dan Fogarty (4-2-4-2), James Weeks (4-0-15-1) and Harry Williams (3-0-14-1) did their best but couldnt bowl Plympton out. Lewdown's last game is against Plymouth Peverell on the 6th of August.
