Match report Lewdown and Uplyme set out to battle on a scorching hot day in West Devon today. Lewdown lost the toss and had to chase later on in the evening as they were asked to field. Uplyme got of to a flyer with their opening pair putting on a slow but valuable partnership of 51. After they went the wickets started to tumble , with Charlie Hughes and Adie Clements taking 3 wickets each as Uplyme were reduced to 175 off 45 overs. The Lewdown openers got to 50 within 12 overs and were cruising until Kris Harris fell for a well-made 36, when the score was on 72. Ed Squire and Harry Geering put on 69 until Ed Squire was dismissed for 41 to be shortly followed by Justin Gliddon. Harry Geering made 50 to steer Lewdown home with Matt Witcher at the other end on 17. Lewdown won by 7 Wickets, kept their unbeaten run going, and collected another 20 points.
