2010 Cricket Carnival
On a gloriously hot and sunny day Lewdown CC, the annual cricket carnival was enjoyed by a record number of people. 6 teams of 10 players, made up 2 groups of 3, playing pairs cricket. The top 2 teams from each group played played semi leading to a final. Players, parents, and juniors were all drawn into equal teams which allowed for exciting games. After 160 overs, a few injuries, many burgers and hot dogs (before the BBQ blew up!) and a few too many alcoholic beverages the final was held it

Leon & callum star in Devon Final
In the season finale, West Devon played perpetual winners East Devon at Countess Wear on Sunday 18 July. Defending an average total, Leon and Callum bowled 10 overs, 2 maidens, and took 5 wickets for the loss of only 19 runs. They were the star performers in what was a shock victory over the previous unbeaten East. The boys performances was the culmination of 10 months hard training with West Devon and local coaches.
